I have often been asked why I would dedicate so much time and effort into a film like Kite, a very short film that some tend to classify as 'hentai'. I have many reasons for making this site, the first being that I enjoyed it so much. I then went onto the internet to find out more about it, but was disappointed to find that there were no other Kite sites out there, besides reviews for it. I thought it was a shame that there weren't that many sites out there for it. So I took my handy dandy web design skills I learned in school and set forth to make a page for it. (Although it is a bit biased seeing as there really isn't anything about Akai and Kanie, who both play a vital part, but oh well. Boo to the badguys) I also feel I must address the fact that I do not classify Kite as hentai. Sure I do realize that there is plenty of nakedness in the unedited movie but I feel it uses it in a constructive way, it actually helps to further develop certain points along the storyline. I am sure that many would disagree with that, but Kite doesn't center around sex; there is an actual story being told. Although I do feel I must mention that I was disappointed at how Kitty Media promoted this movie, as on the back it seems to focus on the fact that it is "full of vicious sex...!" and it just makes me feel like that's what they're advertising and not the movie itself. But I guess sex sells...oh well.
